HERPETOLOGY
The research of Raoul Van Damme covers a wide range of topics in organismal biology, featuring lizards as main study organisms. He has published over 100 papers on the ecology, morphology, physiological ecology, behavior and evolution of reptiles and amphibians in international journals. He is member of the editorial boards of Functional Ecology and Oecologia. He teaches courses in evolutionary biology, phylogeny, ecological morphology and herpetology at the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
